Services ~ Vapor Blast Canada

Finally.....a Local Solution for those Restoration Needs

We have a new Aquablast 915 wet blasting machine designed to blast many sizes of components. The glass bead used in the system is mixed with water to a slurry and blasted at the component. The water buffers and lubricates the particles on impact allowing very fine finishes to be produced without damage to the component.

Being a passive process any parts such as bearings, valves, painted components etc. need to be removed/stripped prior to us Vaporblasting the parts.

This process isn't just limited to motorcycle parts, there are many applications including extrusion die cleaning, mould cleaning (plastic and rubber), reconditioning of diesel injection equipment, engine component reconditioning and the list goes on.

Bring your parts in already degreased or for an added cost we will clean them prior to Vapor Blasting in our Miniwash 480 Machine.

Once all this is done it's time to blast the parts in the vapor blaster to produce that nice satin sheen finish.

Although extra steps are taken in cleaning the parts of residual media we do avise you to clean your parts prior to reassembly.

Prices below are a basic starting point and are subject to change. It's simply not possible to list every type of part so whether it's a CBX, Z50 or that special project that we might not be familiar with, once we have your parts we'll be able give a more accurate cost and contact you before any work begins.

Ultrasonic Carb Cleaning

Not only does the outside of your carburetor need to match that engine restoration the inside needs to look just as good if not better........that's where our Ultrasonic cleaner comes in. The Ultrasonic cleaner can simplify and quicken that integral part of the rebuild or reconditioning process while also providing improved results.

Ultrasonic cleaning uses Cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound) waves to agitate a liquid. These sound waves are created by a number of transducers which are bonded to the base of the ultrasonic bath. As an electrical current is passed through the two transducer crystal rings they become agitated and vibrate at around 40,000 times a second. This vibration converts the electrical energy to sound energy which is then transferred through the base of the tank into the liquid. As the sound waves pass through the fluid microscopic bubbles form. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants adhering to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber, and ceramics. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses. The intention is to thoroughly remove all traces of contamination tightly adhering or embedded onto solid surfaces.

Brake calipers are another overlooked part during a restoration, upgrade or just an overhaul. Piston seals can become worn over time allowing dirt to lodge around the piston and an ultrasonic cleaner is the perfect method to use to ensure that no traces of grit are present prior to installing the new piston seal. Removal of carbon dust build up from the brake pads can leave the caliper in almost new condition. Removing the bleeder screw prior to placing the caliper in the tank will allow the chamber to fill with the solution cleaning the internal passages as well. Any debris which has become lodged in the inlet or within the chamber itself will be broken down and removed leaving the caliper free from potential blockage problems, a great feature especially when installing new hoses.

................Ultrasonic Carb Cleaning Service...............

Single Carb $50
Two Carbs $80
Triple Carbs $110
